MADISON – Platform Communications, a Midwest-based strategic communications firm, announced today Rachel Reisner will be joining its team to serve as Director of Public Relations. Prior to joining Platform, Reisner oversaw communications for the Republican National Convention in Wisconsin as chief media strategist, as well as other high-level statewide and national communications roles, including battleground communications in the recent presidential election.
A native of Wisconsin, Reisner brings extensive media skills and public relations expertise to serve Platform’s diversifying client base. Platform Communications serves clients coast-to-coast and specializes in providing a wide range of strategic communications services, including message development strategies, public affairs and advocacy, public relations, and marketing and digital services.

In her role with the Republican National Convention, Reisner was responsible for ensuring a clear message and smooth operations as Milwaukee played host to a national convention, working with a wide range of media, corporate partners, and other stakeholders. Most immediately prior to joining Platform, Reisner oversaw battleground communications for President Trump’s campaign, a role that followed her leading role with the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. She has also held a variety of roles with the Republican National Committee and the Republican Party of Wisconsin.
