Alesha Guenther has experience in communications and research with a particular focus on developing communications and social media strategies. Alesha previously worked as a Research Analyst at the Republican Party of Wisconsin and gained experience in researching policy, public records, and media coverage. Alesha also helps to produce the Tommy G. Thompson Center for Public Leadership’s podcast, and has worked on projects benefitting the families of veterans, among other causes.
During her Senior year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Alesha is serving as the Chairwoman of the Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans and has previously served as the Communications Director for the Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans and College Republicans of UW-Madison. In these roles, she has worked to coordinate and develop statewide messaging of College Republican chapters across the state and has gained experience in writing press releases, responding to media requests from national, state, and local outlets, and writing opinion pieces for newspapers. As a part of her coursework at UW-Madison, Alesha helped to develop a comprehensive Public Relations Strategy for Camp Hometown Heroes, a non-profit dedicated to serving the grieving children of fallen members of the military. Alesha also is a proud member of Badger Catholic and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
